Ahh, today is SUCH a better day than yesterday. I was such a Debbie Downer yesterday. Today I have been in such a good mood because my head feels so much better and I have something to look forward to! I scheduled a one-hour exfoliating facial and a one-hour massage! (Ahhh - That would be the sound of the angels singing). Anyway, it's $50 each for everything at Concept Day Spa in Gravesend for the entire month of April! Let's see, today is April 6th...yeah, I may be scheduling another 24 of these! I think I paid like $75 for a half hour massage last time I went!
There is literally nothing I like more than getting a discount in stuff. I went to Shecky's Girls Night Out in the city with two of my friends and bought 13 (yes, 13) pairs of fake eyelashes because they were $2 each as opposed to $6 -- and I don't even WEAR fake eyelashes!
Anywho, this is gonna be great. I'm going because I was told by a famous makeup artist (who name I can't remember) that I have "extremely dry skin & need to get a facial & take care if this issue IMMEDIATELY before it causes me anymore problems." I didn't even know I had dry skin -- let alone that it was causing me problems. Is that why people move away from me on the train? I thought that was because I don't wear deodorant... Just kidding. My skin looks fine and my deoderant is like one step under prescription and people sit so close to me on the train that we basically get to second base. Seriously.
Gotta go for now, but I'll let you know how it turns out after my BBQ date with Dan!
